Our GSA consultant will hold a telephone kick-off meeting with your proposal manager. During the meeting the consultant will:

  1. Arrange for downloading GSA Schedule proposal preparation software.
  2. Explain the proposal writing collaborative process and review GSA’s solicitation requirements for making a GSA Schedule offer.
  3. Review your products, and determine your company’s pricing and discounting policies.

Our GSA specialist will prepare discounting and pricing templates based on what was learned during the kick-off meeting. The models will be emailed to the proposal manager and a teleconference will be held with the proposal manager and the work group. The discounting and pricing templates will be presented on a conference room PC, the relationships between discounting and GSA pricing will be discussed, and the templates refined until they accurately reflect your company’s discounting and proposed GSA pricing. Additional collaborative teleconferences will be held with the work group as required until a complete GSA pricing proposal is developed in Word or Excel.

The proposal manager will begin the process of completing required GSA administrative forms -- including Central Contractor Registration, Online Representations and Certifications, and the contractor qualifications survey -- using our collaborative software. Any issues or problems with the administrative forms identified by the proposal manager will be resolved in collaboration with Fedmarket.com’s GSA specialist.

The pricing proposal tables developed by the work group will be converted into proposal documents by our GSA specialist and the proposal manager. Technical sections of the GSA proposal will be completed jointly by the consultant and proposal manager on the proposal manager’s PC.

The draft proposal is assembled by the proposal manager with online assistance from our GSA specialist.

The draft proposal is presented online to the work group, revised as necessary, and the proposal is printed and submitted to GSA.
