Chuck Moeller is the founder of Strike Team LLC, a strategic consulting firm serving clients who sell to the public sector. Chuck offers his clients more than 24 years of leadership experience in sales operations, business development, strategic planning and executive management. This extensive experience in federal business and proposal development allows him to provide unique insight into the challenges companies encounter in this complex selling environment.

In addition to delivering training seminars and workshops for Fedmarket, Chuck works as an Independent Sales Consultant for Miller Heiman Inc., a global thought leader in sales performance, consulting and training solutions. Chuck co-developed Miller Heiman’s government sales offerings, and brings his deep insight into how the government buys products and services, and how to position for competitive advantage to his Miller Heiman clients.

During a 20 year career at the Veridian Corporation, Chuck served in a variety of operational and business development roles. His initial responsibilities involved technical project and program management for US Navy communications, software development, and test & evaluation programs. Chuck participated in, and subsequently managed, the development of complex competitive proposals in response to government RFPs. He taught proposal writing and management workshops as a certified Shipley Associates® workshop facilitator.

From 1992 through 1997, he led a diversification effort to expand the company’s presence in adjacent markets, successfully establishing a group of nine new operating locations with annual sales of $35 million. In 1999, Chuck became the director of Business Development at the Engineering Division headquarters. He oversaw all government and commercial business development activities, and participated in key business development and competitive proposal projects as part of Veridian’s corporate growth strategy. He also led marketing and sales activities for the company’s GSA schedule contracts.

After serving for eight years in the U.S. Navy, Chuck graduated with honors from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with a B.S. in Professional Aeronautics. He completed several graduate level courses toward an MBA at the University of Phoenix. Chuck, his wife Diana, and four grandchildren reside in Gloucester, Virginia, where they enjoy camping, gardening and many other outdoor activities.
