Eileen recently conducted a training session for our government sales team. Though many of us have years of experience in government sales, this session gave us new insight into the Federal market and provide new valuable sales techniques that we can put to use right away. This is a must have course for anyone involved in government sales and well worth the investment.

"We want to sell our products and services to the government.  How do we locate the buyers in the federal marketplace?  With whom do we need to speak?”

"We have a GSA Schedule contract.  What is the next step?”

Our customers frequently ask us the foregoing and other similar questions. The critical question is what are you going to do to get the answers to such questions?

Develop a Federal Sales Plan for your company in a hands-on, two-day workshop.

Learn how to refine the plan and keep it current as your federal sales program matures.

The Federal Sales Plan eLab is a two-day event held monthly in Bethesda, Maryland. Fedmarket.com developed Sales Plan eLab for companies that want answers to the question “Who are the persons we need to call to get federal business?" Our instructors will walk attendees through the process of developing a company-specific sales plan to the extent that attendees should leave the eLab with a completed federal sales plan.

After taking this class, participants will have invaluable knowledge about the development a federal sales plan. This experience will prove to be extremely useful for the following tasks:

  • Conducting an ongoing federal business development program.
  • Refining and updating your federal sales plan.

The eLab works as follows:

1.       Upon completion of your eLab registration, Fedmarket.com will send each registrant detailed guidelines outlining the corporate information each registrant should send to us in advance of the eLab sessions. This information will allow us to conduct preliminary research concerning opportunities for your product/service.

2.       In the event that you have questions concerning the guidelines discussed above, you may contact Fedmarket's consultants by telephone and we will work closely with you to address any issues you have.

3.       Upon arriving at the eLab, each attendee will be directed to his or her own desktop computer. You will use the same computer for the duration of the two-day event. All of your corporate data may be stored on that computer and you alone will have access to that data. At the conclusion of the event, your work product will be made available to you for transport back to your office. All corporate data and your corporate offer will be thereafter be deleted.

4.       Attendees will be given detailed instructions on preparing a federal sales plan which will be tailored to your company.  Among other learning tools, attendees will be given detailed templates, guidelines and web site links to assist in preparation of the sales plan.

5.       After the instructional presentations, our instructors will walk attendees through a work session during which you will actually prepare your federal sales plan on our computers.

6.       Telephones will be available for attendees to call their corporate offices for additional corporate information, as needed.

7.       Our instructors will review and critique attendee's sales plans during the afternoon of second day of the event.

8.       At the conclusion of the event, attendees will download their federal sales plan to a key drive for transport back to their offices.
