Jeffrey S. Robinette is an attorney and the managing principal of the Robinette Group PLC, a law firm located in Tysons Corner, Virginia. The Robinette Group provides legal and consulting services to corporate clients and law firms in the areas of federal, state and local government contracting, including GSA and VA Federal Supply Schedule contracting, U.S. export control laws, technology transactions and associated corporate and regulatory contract compliance.
Mr. Robinette has over 15 years experience with government contracting, having held positions as a contracts manager for the Navy and with Boeing, and practicing law as an in-house counsel at Oracle and in private practice with a major international law firm. Mr. Robinette has worked with dozens of large and small companies on Federal Supply Schedule matters.
With regard to the Price Reductions clause, he has conducted investigations, prepared voluntary disclosures, negotiated contract terms with GSA, and counseled clients on the development of business systems and processes aimed at ensuring future compliance. In December, 2007, Mr. Robinette co-authored an article for the Association of Corporate Counsel Docket magazine addressing how in-house attorneys can mitigate the risks associated with the Price Reductions clause. He is also a Vice Chair of the American Bar Association's Commercial Products and Services Committee of the Section of Public Contract Law
