RFP DescriptionTACCOM II - This Request for Proposal (RFP) solicits for multiple Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts for commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) equipment and services necessary to support the tactical communications requirements of DHS and other partner federal agencies as a Multi-Agency Contract (MAC).

Customs and Border Protection (CBP) notifies prospective Offerors that the time to submit proposals will be extended by at least two weeks from the current due date of September 22. An updated proposal due date will be provided once answers are provided to questions.

Contract TypeThe Government contemplates the award of multiple Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multi-Agency Contracts (MAC) resulting from this solicitation. The contracts will utilize T&M and FFP orders. Incentive provisions may also be applied to individual orders.

Bidding TracksThis solicitation is issued an unrestricted track for Technical Category 1 (TC1), Equipment; and a small business track, and an unrestricted track for Technical Category 2 (TC2), Services.
AwardsThe government anticipates that multiple IDIQ Awards shall be made under each Technical Category. A vendor must submit two complete separate proposals if it wishes to be awarded an IDIQ contract for both Technical Category 1 Equipment and Technical Category 2. DHS intends to issue Multiple Awards to a maximum of 65 contractors.  A maximum of 37 awards are reserved for Equipment, and a maximum of 28 awards are reserved for Services.
Contract PeriodThe IDIQ will have a one-year base and four one-year options for a total period of performance of five years. The IDIQ will allow for Firm-Fixed-Price and Time and Materials orders.
