It is not uncommon for companies manufacturing or exporting goods and services to engage in activities without knowing: (1) the extent to which their conduct might be subject to ITAR or other export controls; and (2) the steps that must be taken to comply with those export regulations.
Why Is This Seminar Different?
This seminar will provide attendees with an understanding of ITAR. The discussion also will include the most recent State Department guidance regarding registration requirements as well as the types of licenses and other approvals that must be obtained prior to export. Recent consent agreements will be analyzed to underscore the need for company compliance programs and this seminar will also address the elements of a successful ITAR compliance program.
