A Compliance Matrix correlates each RFP requirement with the specific proposal section where the requirement is answered. The matrix assists proposal evaluators is determining proposal compliance with RFP requirements. It can also assist in project management as a deliverable tracking mechanism and as a proposal scheduling tool.
Three different types of compliance matrices are presented below. Open a blank Word document and format a Compliance Matrix for the proposal. Use the generic formats shown below or a similar format dictated by the information in the Request for Proposal.
